AK supports the broad approach of the Communication on the New Action Plan for a Circular Economy, which rightly focuses on the phase of production and the subsequent use of products, addresses many of the problems clearly and also becomes specific in the proposed measures. Nevertheless, omissions and imbalances in the "First" Circular Economy Package must be remedied. Further comments on the new Action Plan for Circular Economy refer, among other things, to the role of consumers and the neccessary Social Dialogue.
