BackOn 13 November 2013, the European Commission ushered in the European semester 2014 with the Annual Growth Survey (AGS). In parallel to this, the Commission also published the draft Joint Employment Report, the report on the integration of the Single Market and the 2014 Alert Mechanism Report (AMR).
The Federal Chamber of Labour (AK) sets out below its position primarily with regard to the AGS and, in summary, maintains that despite some definite positive initial signs, there is no evidence of a fundamental change in course towards a new European growth and distribution model, something which in our view is essential for overcoming the crisis.
