BackThe Brussels Office of the Austrian Chamber of Labour (AK EUROPA), the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS), Social Platform, Solidar, and the European Policy Centre (EPC) jointly organised the event “The European Pillar of Social Rights. Turning principles into practice”.
AK EUROPA invited participants to take part in a policy dialogue proposing lines of action to keep the spirit of the European Pillar of Social Rights alive and to promote legislative action during the next term of the European Parliament and Commission.
EPC authors Danielle Brady, Tommasso Grossi and Laura Rayner presented preliminary policy recommendations in view of the review of the Social Pillar Action Plan, the redesign of EU economic governance as well the next Commission mandate and the European Council Strategic Agenda 2024-2029.
This event brought together policymakers, trade unions, civil society representatives, academics and experts to engage in a discussion about the future of the EPSR and its pivotal role in shaping the European Union's social policies.
