Back<p class="MsoNormal">The assignment mentioned requires outlining, which issues have already been covered by European Union Law and which not. European Union Law regulates only part of those issues that Europeans traditionally associate with the area of Labour Law. Various selection criteria are relevant in respect of the search of those unregulated "blank areas" of Labour Law governed by European Union Law, for which initiatives for minimum standards might be conceivable and promising. These criteria are in particular the following three: Political goals, which can be pursued with minimum standards, Regulatory authority and thereby possibility of regulating minimum standards and political chances of the success of an initiative. </p>
