It welcomes the efforts to promote free movement of data within Europe, yet it also emphatically advocates that regulations must take sufficient consideration of the needs of consumers and employees. Against this background, the BAK fully appreciates the opportunity to present its opinion on the amendments to the draft report by the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
