An important part of national legislation is co-determined by political decisions taken in Brussels. This is why the AK set up the AK EUROPA office in the capital of the EU already before Austria’s accession to the EU - in order to promote the interests of workers, employees and consumers in Brussels.

Being fully committed to the spirit of European integration and European values, we wish to play an active role in the formulation of European policies in order to maintain a sustainable balance between the interests of all social groups.
